The emphasis of the presentation was placed on the possibilities for the export of Croatian goods and services by specific sectors, while Croatian businesspeople were provided with information on the business environment in the Kingdom of Norway, the local legal framework for the establishment of companies or employment. Representatives of the Croatian Embassy in Oslo stressed that they stand at the service of Croatian companies for information, the establishment of connections with potential Norwegian partners, as well as for the facilitation of business meetings, which can be held in the offices of the Croatian Embassy in Oslo.
Mr. Alen Premuzak, CEO of Croatian company Dalekovod Plc., briefed the meeting on his company’s enviable business results on the Norwegian market, which had been achieved via a subsidiary established in Norway in 2007. The presentation was concluded with remarks by Ambassador Marusic, who told Croatian exporters that their products, services, knowledge and technology made them competitive enough to compete on the Norwegian market and meet its high demands. The prerequisites to success are meticulous preparatory work, as well as investments in project management and quality monitoring, Ambassador Marusic told the meeting, which will allow Croatian companies to gain the trust of their Norwegian partners and create a positive business environment for the expansion of Croatian business activities in the country.
